Jersey Landmarks and Monuments: Picture of Mont Orgueil CastleThere are many eye-catching landmarks and important monuments all over Jersey, ranging from natural coastal sights, to imposing man-made structures, often relating to the wartime German occupation of the island. Some of Jersey's most scenic and historical landmarks include Elizabeth Castle, La Corbiere Lighthouse and the hard-to-miss Mont Orgueil Castle.

Close to Elizabeth Castle and constructed as long ago as the 1540s, St. Aubin's Fort stands proudly next to the harbour at St. Aubin's Bay, where historically they both provided invaluable protection to this part of Jersey. Another noteworthy landmark on Jersey is Grosnez Castle is a spectacular ruined structure believed to date back to the 14th century.
